I’m announcing something that even now‚ when I say it out loud‚ makes my heart skip a beat. I have officially photographed over 1‚600 marriage proposals․
Let that sink in for a moment․ 1‚600 times‚ I have had a front-row seat to the most vulnerable‚ beautiful‚ and life-altering moments. In which a person can experience․ I’ve seen knees buckle. Hands fly to mouths‚ tears of joy rolling down everyone.
Needless to say‚ to say I am honored is an understatement․ I am humbled․
Being your Orlando Proposal Photographer means so much more than just showing up with a camera․ It means being entrusted with a secret that could burst at the seams․ It means helping the nervous laughter turn into deep breaths․ It means hiding in plain sight‚ my heart pounding just as fast as yours‚ waiting for that exact second․
But my favorite part of what I do? It isn’t just the photography․ It’s the planning․
I get to walk the nervous and excited partners through selecting the perfect spot to propose․ It can be a peaceful little area at Lake Eola‚ on the sunset at Sunset Walk‚ or a balcony at Disney Springs! I get to go over the weather‚ the ring‚ the decoy plans‚ and the words that are about to change everything․ I get to help orchestrate a once-in-a-lifetime moment that you’ll never forget‚ and when you’re shaking with adrenaline and emotion‚ I get to give you the memories‚ secured for you․
These photos are one frame of one of the hundreds of love stories I was lucky enough to witness this year․ But really‚ they are everything․ The leap‚ the fall‚ and the hope in knowing there is someone there to catch you․
