This is a common question I get asked, usually with couples who haven’t been in Orlando for a long time. Also we get questions from couples who come here for vacation or they are just visiting for a short time because they realize Orlando has so much to offer! When you think of Orlando, you think theme parks and malls. Orlando’s metro area has so much to offer from the beautiful neighboring Celebration down south to bustling historic Park Avenue in Winter Park, these parts of Orlando is pretty much unknown to much of the world today. Down below we are going to feature common locations we love to photograph and possibly help you on your engagement session!
1. Winter Park Central Park aka Rose Garden
This is a beautiful area which is also a beautiful intimate wedding location for those who just want a beautiful rose garden, a fountain and arches to add to their style. Not to mention that Park Avenue is just minutes away from those who want an urban style shoot.
2. Dickson Azalea Park
This next park is truly one of my favorites due to the fact, not many people know about this place. If you’re looking for a quiet area without the hustle and bustle of a city park, this place is it. This area provides beautiful greenery and bridges that bring a naturistic mood to your photos.
3. Lake Eola
This is a beautiful location known for its iconic fountain, pagoda and beautiful artwork from local artists that can add some mood to your photos. If you truly love Orlando, this location is a no brainer!
4. Kraft Azalea Park
This park located in Winter Park is known for its beautiful sunsets, moss trees, and scenic wildlife which is a huge hit for any genre of photography! Chances are when you come here there are other couples and families that want to photograph here!

5. Leu Gardens
This location is well known for its huge area of endless possibilities from its rose garden to numerous paths that appeal to many couples that want a garden vibe. Not to mention on the weekdays this place is really quiet and visitors tend to mind their own business. Just a reminder that this place closes at 5pm daily!

6. Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort at Walt Disney World
This beautiful gem is located on the Walt Disney Resort, which couples that love a classy Victorian vibe they end up wanting in their photos. From the dock that faces Magic Kingdom to the Wedding Pavilion, this location is just perfect for any Disney lover without being in the actual park
7. Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress
This hidden gem is actually minutes away from the Walt Disney Resort! This is perfect for couples that want everything Florida is known for such as a beach, a bridge and waterfalls which make for beautiful portraits in an all in one location! One favorite location in this resort is the lanterns that make for beautiful photos at night!
8. Celebration
This small town USA vibe is a blast from the past to the 1960s which many of the houses and businesses in the area resemble that era. The area also has a huge park which make for a beautiful spot to do your engagement photos. From Main Street USA to beautiful scenic areas that couples want and desire, this spot is a perfect choice!
9. Disney’s Boardwalk
This location is another blast from the past when America loved the iconic Boardwalk, bars, pubs and games that truly brings back memories. This resort also connects to Disney’s Yacht and Beach and the Swan and Dolphin Resort if you’re wanting to switch up scenes!
