Some events happen only once‚ and on rare occasions‚ I work very closely with clients to capture these one-time honored events․ Not too long ago, I had the honor of photographing Matthew’s proposal to Angelina. It was one of those days that reminded me exactly why I love what I do.
Their relationship began in October 2022 in Tampa when they went on their first date to the ropes course but not for dinner․ On their first date‚ they free-climbed and provided support for each other․ Looking back, it was a perfect start for a couple who has spent the last four years since taking adventures together.
A few months before the proposal‚ Matthew would reach out to me․ It was finally time to do the deed. Matthew chose Mead Botanical Garden in Winter Park for their proposal spot because of the peaceful environment and other features he liked about the location. The benefits of doing it at Mead Botanical Garden include seclusion for Matthew and his fiancee during their proposal.
On the proposal day‚ I would dress up as a tourist in a garden and blend in. Angelina‚ who was taken by surprise when Matthew got down on one knee to propose‚ definitely did not anticipate the proposal․ One of my favorite aspects of my job is capturing candid moments like this one․ I don’t believe I will ever get tired of it․ Each of the four years of their relationship was captured in this photo of Angelina accepting Matthew’s proposal․
